my photography PHILOSOPHY
Welcome to a photoshop free zone! In my work I intentionally work with light and colour edits leaving your body and skin unchanged. As a society we've been so conditioned to resist texture, strive for thinness and live in the habit of altering our appearance in some way. Here we actively resist that and strive to recondition our beautiful brains to honour and see what is, without the filters or the blinders. Without the need to change a damn thing. Does this mean my work may challenge those biases and occasionally make you uncomfortable? Absolutely. AND that in itself is a doorway and a gift, because when we can sit with that discomfort long enough and inquire where it comes from we have the opportunity to plant new seeds as we realize those insidious things were never meant to be ours in the first place.
I also believe that photography should be accessible to everyone and although I would love to do this work for free, I've got babies to feed and bills to pay. That being said any and all of my work including events & workshops are available on payment plans at no additional cost.

FAQ
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, print them yourself or order prints directly from your gallery!
How many pictures will we receive?
Each session contains a full digital gallery (with the exception of mini events) but with each session being unique I cannot guarantee an exact number of images for your session. On average an hour session will have anywhere from 75-150 photos with birth and weddings ranging from 400-800 depending on the experience. Ultimately I will choose the photos that feel the most authentic and true to your story and you will have more than enough to choose from.
Do you photograph weddings?
I take a small number of weddings throughout the calendar year, but prioritize birth clients & getting bare sessions first. So if the calendar allows it and the fit feels good I'm happy to capture your wedding. My shooting style for weddings is similar to all of my work, capturing you and your love as it is rather than working through set poses or trying to create a specific aesthetic. Weddings start at $2500 for 8 hours of coverage & as always full digital gallery.
